Top Ten Things about being home...
Ok, this is in absolutely no order. But there are some incredibly awesome things that I have missed during my 18 months on the mission...and since there are so many things that I miss about Brasil, and about being on the mission, I figure it is always good to focus on the positives. There are some things that, you just can't do or get on the mission. So here are the things I have enjoyed since being back...
1. the microwave. A must for college life especially.
2. my dryer... can I just tell you what an amazing invention that was? I am so not use to having perfectly dry clothes because there were so many times where after i put my laundry out on the line... and then it rained. ha. So yay for dryers.
3. dating. you definitely get none of that one the mission, that would be disturbing.
4. peanut butter. that actually might be better than dating.
5. salads... like mexican salads and stuff... they are just so great!! and salad dressings too....
6. cell phone. how cool is it that i can call someone? i mean really!
7. MUSIC!! this is by far probably my favorite... sigur ros, sufjan stevens, bob marley, the killers, coldplay, u2, 80s, jack johnson, lavender diamond.. it has been so fun rocking out again!
8. dancing. Ok, so i will admit that i danced a little bit on the mission... but since it is hard to rock out and dance to church music, that is wonderful to do again.
9. Running and working out alone!!! Can i tell you how wonderful it is to work out and not worry where your companion is?
10. Family and Friends!!! I really did miss those suckers. I love being able to pick up the phone and hear their voices.. and actually email- any old day of the week!
So yes.. yay for the small things in life. every single day is an adventure... no matter where you are!

New Blog!
Yay! This is going to be my new blog for the post-mission life. I wanted something new and fresh, I am sorry if this is causing confusion for anyone, but I think it is good to start something new! So here is my new blog, straight from the cold of Utah!
